Stratford-on-Avon District Council will be hosting a Climate Assembly Event on Thursday 5 September 2024.
The event is open and members of the public are invited to come and speak to officers, councillors and partner agencies. Its aim is to showcase the work done by the Council and partners to tackle climate change in the District since the climate emergency was declared in 2019.
A range of agencies and businesses will be attending with information and stalls to discuss their sustainable goals and practices. These include: Act on Energy, Warwickshire County Council, Shipston Area Flood Action Group, Heart of England Forest, Coventry City Council, Net Zero Stratford, Stratford Climate Action and many more!
Cllr Susan Juned, Leader of Stratford-on-Avon District Council, said: "We hope we succeed in showcasing the Districts' progress and plans; best practice in the community; and in enabling a springboard for further action involving everyone"
