In January 2024, the First Phase of the Community Climate Change Fund opened for applications to invest in work to tackle the climate emergency. Ten projects received funding from the First Phase of the Fund and are to be delivered between June 2024 and March 2025. You can view some case studies of the successful projects here.
This Friday, 10 January 2025, Phase Two of the Fund will open for applications. The application window will be open until Monday 10 February 2025. Phase Two has a total budget of £55,863 available to successful applicants. You can apply using the resources found on our website here. Submit your application to us via climate.emergency@stratford-dc.gov.uk.
Phase Two has changed slightly following feedback from Phase One:
Cllr Susan Juned, Leader of Stratford-on-Avon District Council, said: "It is essential to work with our communities if we are to tackle climate change and biodiversity depletion. We want to give people the tools to take action, find solutions that are grounded in local communities and tell others of their success."
If you would like to apply, or if you have any queries, please contact the team via climate.emergency@stratford-dc.gov.uk.
