New Cabinet Member

The Leader of Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Cllr Chris Saint has appointed Cllr Simon Lawton (Wootton Wawen) as Planning and Administrative Portfolio holder on Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Cabinet.  

Cllr Lawton replaces Cllr Daren Pemberton on The Cabinet.  

Cllr Simon Lawton has been a District Councillor since 2015 and is Chairman of Regulatory Committee and is a member of Planning (West), Licensing Panel and Employment and Appointments Committee.  

Cllr Lawton has lived in the District since 1987 and has worked as a Chartered Surveyor in the commercial property industry and has run his own property consultancy business from offices in Henley-in-Arden. Cllr Lawton is also Chairman of Claverdon Parish Council and in his spare time enjoys watching sports, playing golf, the guitar and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
