Waterside Bikers - update

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Cabinet has today, Monday 5 November requested Council to review the Byelaws for Waterside in Stratford-upon-Avon.  

The Cabinet report was produced following a recent complaint relating to the gathering of motorcycles on land owned by the District Council at Bancroft Gardens, Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon.  

Cllr Lynda Organ, Resources and Property Portfolio says: "It is clear that the Byelaws which are in place are historic and require updating.  In order to address the inadequacies of the existing Byelaws a report will be produced for Council to review with a recommendation that motorcycle gatherings should be allowed."
