Stratford-on-Avon District Council has launched a public consultation on a new proposed gym and fitness studio at Studley Leisure Centre.
A recent review of leisure facilities in the district identified a shortfall in publically accessible gyms and fitness studios in the Studley area. The District Council has successfully secured funding for a project to develop Studley Leisure Centre to create a new gym and fitness studio space and is now seeking views of the public.
Cllr Mike Brain, services for the Community Portfolio says: "It is important that we develop the very best facilities we can for our residents and we want to find out exactly what the public want from their local leisure centre. We want to hear the public's views to allow us to take the next steps in this process. The District Council is committed to providing the best possible facilities for our residents so I would urge everyone to get involved in this consultation to help shape our plans."
The proposed plans are on display in the reception area of the leisure centre in Studley and also on-line at https://www.stratford.gov.uk/sport-leisure-arts/leisure-centres.cfm
