The geographically dispersed nature of the District can result in difficulty for some residents contacting the Council and dealing with issues face to face. Without the technology or the knowhow, the resident is forced to travel to the council offices to have a one-to-one meeting. This trial, in two locations, will make technology available in a public place that allows the interaction without the need for travel. The cost of this was included as part of the 2024/25 budget setting process. |
This leaves £0.638m to be considered for future projects and initiatives. The Cabinet will monitor the delivery of the Council Plan and the expenditure against the overall £2.2m budget.
