BBC's Countryfile presenter, Tom Heap was the key speaker at Napton's Eco Fair last Saturday 1 July.
The event organised by the Napton Environment Action Team (NEAT), took place at Napton's Village Hall, where the environmental broadcaster and journalist, well-known for programmes such as Sky TV's 'Climate Show' and '39 ways to save the planet' gave a talk, which was attended by local residents and those from surrounding villages and communities.
There was a full programme with items including, practical advice for saving energy, water and money; a repair shop; cycle health checks, EV's and e-bikes; beekeepers and home growers.
Cllr Nigel Rock, Deputy Leader said: "I would like to congratulate the NEAT group for the wonderful effort in organising the event and the comprehensive presentations and range of contributors."

Also at the event was Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Leader, Cllr Susan Juned and Deputy Leader, Cllr Nigel Rock who got the chance to discuss climate and energy issues with Tom.
Stratford-on-Avon District Council has made action against climate change as well as environmental sustainability, key parts of its agenda for a local green recovery.
"Tackling the climate emergency and ecological crisis is central to our plan," commented Cllr Susan Juned, Leader of the District Council who is responsible for climate change as part of her Council duties.
"All of our decisions must ensure we consider the impact of climate change on the residents we serve and on their environment."
As a District Council, Stratford-on-Avon has declared a climate emergency to become net-zero carbon as an organisation by 2025, and by 2030 seeks to reduce the total emissions in Stratford-on-Avon District as a whole by at least 55% as a stepping stone to becoming a net zero District.
