Stratford-on-Avon District Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Annette Homer to Head of Housing and Customer Services and Marcia Eccleston to Head of Law and Governance. They will join the leadership team in July and August respectively.
Annette was previously the Head of Governance at the ExtraCare Charitable Trust. Prior to this she held the role of Executive Director for the Bournville Village Trust and she has also worked at the Bromford Housing Group, Redditch Borough Council and Wyre Forest District Council.
Annette Homer said: "This is a really exciting time to be joining Stratford-on-Avon District Council and I am very much looking forward to my new role and to contributing to the work of the Leadership Team in support of the new administration."
Marcia is currently the Head of Legal and Deputy Monitoring Officer for Law and Governance at Oxford City Council. She has previously also held the role of the Head of Service - Legal, Governance and Risk for the collaboration between West Mercia and Warwickshire Police.
Marcia Eccleston said: "I am delighted about my new role at Stratford-on-Avon District Council and look forward to joining the team."

Although it's sad to be losing two experienced Heads of Service, they will be a welcome addition to the leadership team. Both bring a wealth of knowledge with a proven track record and I'm sure they will continue to build on the excellent services already offered by the District Council whilst helping us to deliver our corporate objectives."
The appointments have been made following the retirement of two members of the current Management Team - David Platts, Head of Housing and Customer Services who has been with the District Council for seven years and Phil Grafton, Head of Law and Governance who has been at the District Council for a decade.
