Nominations are now open for the Stratford-on-Avon District Sports Awards 2018.
The awards recognise the success and hard work of sportspeople, teams and volunteers during the last twelve months. You can play your part by submitting a nomination.
The event, now in its 16th year, will be held on Friday 19 January 2018 at the Stratford Artshouse.
Nominations are now open in the following 12 categories:
Senior Sports Person
Junior Sports Person
Senior Para-Sports Person
Junior Para-Sports Person
Senior Team
Junior Team
Senior Para-Sports Team
Junior Para-Sports Team
Coach or PE Teacher Volunteer
Press Correspondent
Service to Sport
All nominations need to be submitted by Monday 11 December and can be made via the Sports Awards page of the Stratford-on-Avon District Council website
Award winners in 2017 included footballers Lucy Shepherd & Mollie Rouse (Senior Sports Person), fencer Sophia Potter (Junior Sports Person) and athletics coach Sandy Green (Volunteer).
