On Thursday 9 November, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its sixth neighbourhood plan referendum.
Voters in Wootton Wawen went to the polls to respond to the question: "Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Wootton Wawen to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
The results were as follows:
The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 482 (89.75%)
The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 55 (10.25%)
Total number of votes cast 537 - No rejects.
The turnout was 48.03%.
