The National Market Traders Federation's (NMTF) Annual National Youth Market is coming to Stratford-upon-Avon.
Young people from all over the UK will be pitching up on Waterside in Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday 31 August and Saturday 1 September to trade on the country's only market of its kind.
It will be moving from the big city feel of Manchester where the market took place last year to the traditional market town atmosphere of Stratford-upon-Avon. Moving to a more central location will give more youngsters the chance to take part.
The town will host the sixth event in this major initiative to bring young, talented entrepreneurs brim-full of ideas to the marketplace. Regional events have been held and the winners from these events will take their place at the Stratford-upon-Avon National Youth Market to compete for the converted crown of National Youth Market Winner.
Cllr Maurice Howse, Business, Tourism and ICT Portfolio says: "The youth market gives young people a chance to embrace their entrepreneurial spirit. The experience of hosting a stall for the day will allow participants to experience running a business and help foster skills they can build on for years to come."
The event will be supported by Stratford-on-Avon District and Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council's market contractor LSD Promotions.
Anyone aged between 16 and 30 from any part of the UK, with a bright idea will be eligible to apply for the event. To apply or for more information please visit: https://www.nmtf.co.uk/national-youth-market/
