New Chairman for Stratford-on-Avon District Council  

On Wednesday 16 May, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its Annual Meeting where Councillor George Atkinson handed over the chain of office to Councillor Christopher Kettle.  

During his term of office Councillor George Atkinson (Tanworth-in-Arden) has raised around £3,500 for his Chairman's charities, the NSPCC, Tanworth-in-Arden St Mary Magdalene Malawi Linked Parish Scheme, Stratford Girls Football Club and Junior Boxing Academy.  

Councillor Christopher Kettle (Bishop's Itchington) has chosen Young Minds and the Brain Tumour Charity as his Chairman's charities for the year.
