Beaudesert and Henley-in-Arden Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result

On Thursday 30 May, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its 31st neighbourhood plan referendum.

Voters in Beaudesert and Henley-in-Arden went to the polls to respond to the question: "Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Beaudesert and Henley-in-Arden to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

The results were as follows:

The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 834

The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 85

Rejected being unmarked or wholly void for uncertainty was 1

Total number of ballot papers issued: 920

The turnout was 36.5%
Electorate: 2,524
