On Thursday 1 September, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its second neighbourhood plan referendum.
Voters in Kineton went to the polls to respond to the question:
"Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Kineton to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
The results were as follows:
The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 773 (90.09%)
The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 85 (9.91%)
Total number of votes cast 858 - no rejects.
The turnout was 46.08%.
