THE PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS & CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990 (LBAD1)

Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Stratford-on-Avon District Council for Planning Permission for development which affects the character or appearance of a Conservation Area or development which affects the setting of a Listed Building and/or Listed Building Consent/Conservation Area Consent in respect of the applications scheduled below

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015

Notice is hereby given that amendments have been submitted relating to planning application ref: 15/04200/OUT which is accompanied by an Environmental Statement and which may affect the setting of listed buildings and/or the character or appearance of conservation areas and which may affect public rights of way and which is not currently in accordance with the provisions of the Development Plan for that area at the time of amendments submission.

Proposed: Outline application (with all matters reserved except for means of access from Banbury Road B4100) for the construction of up to 1000 dwellings (Use Class C3), Assembly and Leisure floorspace (Use Class D2) and Retail floorspace (Use Classes A1 and A3) together with associated public open space, recreational areas, natural accessible green space and associated infrastructure including roads, footways/cycleways, car parking, attenuation ponds, sewers, swales and acoustic bund adjacent to the M40.


At: Land Adjacent to the Old Gated Road, Gaydon/Lighthorne Heath


For: IM Properties Development Ltd and Feldon Herbs Ltd

 

Amendments:

  • Removal of proposed landmark tower from scheme
  • Revised street alignment and hierarchy
  • Revised green infrastructure provision
  • Single point of access (roundabout)  from B4100
  • Feature building (likely local shop or cafe) at roundabout access junction
  • Revised views towards Chesterton Windmill
  • Increased buffer distance from 15m to 30m to Chesterton Woods
  • Realignment of footpath SM192
  • Revised sustainable urban drainage scheme
  • Revised outdoor sports provision
  • Revisions to density and building height parameters

Comments received by the District Council will be a matter of public record, will be made available for public inspection and will be published on the Council's website. Comments or representations should be emailed to: planning.applications@stratford-dc.gov.uk  or sent via the Council website by selecting the “Comment" tab which appears when viewing the application, or posted to Head of Environment and Planning, Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6HX.

Comments or representations should be received by the District Council within 42 days of the date of publication of this notice.

 


Comments or representations on any of the applications listed above should be forwarded to me at the address below within 21 days of the date of publication of this notice. Please note that all comments received will be a matter of public record and will be made available for public inspection and will also be published on the Council's website.

In the event of an appeal being lodged against a refusal of a householder application, any representations made about the application will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.

A copy of the above application(s), plan(s) and documents(s) may be viewed on our web site at www.stratford.gov.uk/eplanning. Alternatively if you do not have access to the internet they may be viewed electronically during normal office hours at Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon.

To save the inconvenience of travelling a copy of the submitted plan(s) have also been forwarded to your local Parish Council to whom you may refer.
