Publication of Planning Public Notices

It is a legal requirement for Stratford-on-Avon District Council to give public notice of certain types of planning application and other planning matters by the display of an advert in a local newspaper.

Following a successful tender process, from Monday 14 November Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Planning Public Notices will be published in the Stratford Herald and Midweek News.

In addition to the press and site notices, the District Council also has an online tool designed to help Parishes, partners and residents access information on new planning applications within their neighbourhood.

The online tool sends email alerts to anyone who has registered via the District Council's website notifying them of any planning applications which have been registered with the District Council and which fall within the selected geographical area.  The online tool was introduced to supplement existing arrangements and provides an additional method of communication which is more targeted, reliable and immediate for all those who register.
