The Senior Citizen's Action Network (SCAN) Annual Conference takes place on Tuesday 1 November and will focus on social isolation and staying connected and independent.

This year's event will take place at Stratford Racecourse and will explore social isolation, its impact on health and how you can live independently and maintain connections. 

Speakers for the day range from Public Health, South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group, Age UK Warwickshire and Care & Repair England.

The event starts at 10am and finishes at 3.45pm.

It's free to attend for the over 50's and will include refreshments and a buffet lunch.

Places must be booked in advance by calling the District Council on 01789 260490.

SCAN meetings take place across the District in Alcester, Bidford, Henley-in-Arden, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shipston-on-Stour and Southam.
