New Cabinet Member

The Leader of Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Cllr Chris Saint has appointed Cllr Peter Richards (Snitterfield) as Housing and Infrastructure Portfolio on Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Cabinet.

Cllr Richards' appointment follows the resignation of Cllr Robert Vaudry from Cabinet due to personal reasons.

Cllr Peter Richards has been a District Councillor since 2014 and is Chairman of Regulatory Committee and is a member of Planning (West) and Licensing Panel.  In 2016 he was called to give evidence to the House of Lords on behalf of Rural England on licensing matters and also writes for the Local Government Association in a similar capacity.

Cllr Richards has lived in the District since 2010 and is a partner of Quotidian Investments, a finance business he runs in the District.  He is also a Performance Coach at Warwickshire County Cricket Club, where he manages the U14 county age group.
