On Thursday 4 May, Stratford-on-Avon District Council held its third neighbourhood plan referendum.
Voters in Salford Priors went to the polls to respond to the question:
“Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Salford Priors to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
The results were as follows:
The number of votes cast in favour of YES was 388 (86.8%)
The number of votes cast in favour of NO was 59 (13.2%)
Total number of votes cast 450 – 3 rejects.
The turnout was 39.1%.
