Launch of Community Plan delivery 2005/06

Stratford District Partnership's plans to deliver the improvements local residents have been asking for will be launched at 12 noon in the Civic Hall, Stratford-upon-Avon on 13 July.

The launch will be held as part of the VOLUNTEERING 2005 day organised by the Council for Voluntary Service, Stratford-on-Avon District.  This all day event features an exhibition and talks on Volunteering during the morning and a Tea Dance in the afternoon.

Charles Goody, Chairman of the Partnership, said today:

"The public have defined the kind of district they would like to see in 10 years time. delivery of those changes will involve many groups and individuals. The new Community Plan outlines the work, activity and commitment form those groups. The voluntary groups will play a key role in delivering the plans. For that reason we are delighted to introduce our plans for 2005/6 as part of the volunteering event."
