Residents in south Warwickshire can take home a free low energy light bulb next week. It's part of a campaign, Save Your 20%, supported by Stratford-on-Avon District Council to help householders save money on their energy bills.
Free light bulbs will be handed on Wednesday 16 November at the council's offices in Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon. The Warwickshire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (WEEAC) is leading the campaign and will also be on hand from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm to answer any energy-related questions and advise residents on saving money with fuel bills. This is the latest of a series of a series of campaigns being carried out across the District.
The Save Your 20% campaign is a new campaign from the Energy Saving Trust that aims to reduce UK homes energy use by a fifth of their current levels. The campaign runs until the end of December 2005 and is part of WEEAC's ongoing commitment to help local residents make their homes more comfortable for less money.
Warwickshire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre is part funded by Stratford District Council and the Energy Saving Trust.
Anyone who is unable to go to the council offices and would like to talk to WEEAC about free impartial energy advice should call 0800 512012.
