Stratford-on-Avon District Council in partnership with Wellesbourne Action Group (WAG) are hosting an important free event for local residents in Wellesbourne and the surrounding villages on Tuesday 24 October from 10am until 12noon at Wellesbourne Primary School.
The event will feature issues on crime prevention, personal safety and health and welfare where there will be 20 exhibitions providing essential information and advice on services and assistance available in the Wellesbourne area.
Information will include home safety and how to minimise hazards, consumer awareness and how to deal with cowboy traders and doorstep callers. Warwickshire Police will give tips on improving personal safety. Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service will give advice on the prevention of fires in the home.
Although this event is likely to be of special interest to over 55's all age groups and carers of older people are welcome.
Light refreshments will be available, so you can have a tea or a coffee and take your time to visit the stalls.
