Two candidates contested the seat at the Kineton ward for Stratford-on-Avon District Council on Thursday 2 November.
The by-election follows the resignation of Clive Higgs (Lib Dem) in September.
The result is:
Sandra Mary Knapton (Liberal Democrat) 598 votes
Susan Wixey (Conservative) 712 votes - Elected
The electorate for the Kineton ward is 3,344.
Turnout for this election was 39.35%.
Turnout for the last contested election at Kineton was 47.15%.
