Are you considering building works?  Are you thinking of extending your house?  Do you need some advice before submitting a planning application or advice on your neighbour's application?

From next Wednesday 13 September you will be able to make an appointment to meet a Planning Officer from Stratford-on-Avon District Council to advise you on any planning topic.

You may be thinking of extending your property and would like to know whether your proposal would be likely to be granted planning permission or you may have received a neighbour notification letter from the District Council and you want to understand the likely impact of your neighbour's proposal.

The surgeries are open to everyone, including professional agents and whatever the planning query you can meet an Officer for free at either Elizabeth House in Stratford-upon-Avon or at The Grange in Southam.

The planning surgeries will be held at Elizabeth House on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings for enquiries about properties in the west of the District including Stratford, Bidford, Studley and Alcester.

Surgeries for the east part of the District including Stratford south of the river, Southam, Shipston and Welford-on-Avon will be held on Wednesday afternoons and at The Grange in Southam on Thursday afternoons.

If you would like to make an appointment or for further information please contact the District Council on 01789 260303 or 01926 812881 for an appointment at The Grange.

Alternatively email info@stratford-dc.gov.uk, or visit the District Council's website www.stratford.gov.uk/planning, where there is a wide variety of information about the Planning Service.
