Stratford-on-Avon District Council is increasing accessibility of its planning service by launching a new e-planning system to their website.
The new e-planning system includes better search facilities, state of the art maps and a new on-line viewer for looking at plans and documents that will enable people to measure proposals on-line.
Recent planning applications have been available to view on the Council's website since December 2005. As a result of customer comments, the new system has been developed for the Council's e-planning web pages, which will improve reliability and usability.
The new web pages are now live with on-screen help instructions available. They can be found at; www.stratford.gov.uk/planning. The web pages have been fully developed in-house and therefore the Council will continue to develop and improve them as a result of your comments. Feedback is welcome via e-mail to: planning.applications@stratford-dc.gov.uk.
The new web pages will help to improve efficiency and reduce the use of paper in the Planning Service, which is one of the Council's Corporate Aims.
