The Charity Mop will take place on the evening of Thursday 11 October, while the Main Mop will take place from 11.00am until midnight on Friday 12 October.

- Greenhill Street
- Rother Street (from Ely Street)
- Wood Street
- Union Street
- Bridge Street

This year's runaway Mop will take place in the town centre on 25 and 26 October. The following streets will be closed from 5.00a.m. on Thursday 25 October until 6.00a.m. on Saturday 27 October:
- Greenhill Street
- Rother Street (from Ely Street)
- Wood Street
- Windsor Street (from Mansell Street)
- Meer Street
The Council appreciates these closures can lead to problems with access for vehicles, and with parking, during this time. However following safety problems last year, the road closures will be strictly enforced. If you would like advice on parking and access during the period of the road closures, please contact Stratford-on-Avon District Council on 01789 260698.
While the MOP does cause disruption to the town centre, it's a historic tradition as the original Charter was granted by Edward VI on 28 June 1544 and is therefore part of what makes Stratford-upon-Avon unique.
The Council is very grateful for local people's assistance and co-operation in making its operation as trouble free as possible.
