Food glorious food

Most of Stratford town centre will be taken over by an array of stalls promoting food and our love of it next weekend.  

Stratford-on-Avon District Council is supporting the Stratford-upon-Avon Festival of Food on Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September, which is organised by Stratford Town Management Partnership.  

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's corporate stand in Bancroft gardens will include:

• Healthy Eating - with the 5-a-day message, information from trained dieticians and you'll be able to "peddle your own fruit smoothie".
• Food Hygiene Inspection Ratings - explanations as to how the scheme will help you make a safe and responsible restaurant choice.
• Recycling and waste - how to reduce your waste and help the environment.
• General information about the District Council.  

Everyone is invited to come and learn more about the District Council and how we can help you make healthy decisions.
