Your views really do count as local residents Sarah Green and her son, Alfie, recently found out.

Sarah Green was entered into a free prize draw after completing a holiday scheme questionnaire organised by Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Sports Development Team this year.

The prize draw is aimed at encouraging users of the holiday schemes to complete the feedback forms to help the Council shape and improve its services.

The feedback results showed that;

• 78% of respondents rated the holiday sports as an excellent value for money scheme
• 89% of young people liked the activity scheme "a lot"

"Holidays are a difficult time for parents to find inexpensive and enjoyable activities for children to take part in. The holiday schemes set up by the Sports Development Team at Stratford-on-Avon District Council provide just that." Says Councillor Chris Williams, Portfolio Holder for Community Services.

"Nobody questions that sport is beneficial, but this survey clearly gives a clear message; what is currently being provided is being appreciated by those participating."
