Are you ready? Roadshow rolls on

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's refuse and recycling service is changing in August 2008 and District Council officers are out and about the District promoting the changes.

The 'Are you ready?'  Roadshow this weekend can be found at on Saturday 7 June at both the Ufton Community Event and Wellesbourne Street Fair, and Alcester Street Fair on Sunday 8 June.  

Saturday 7 June    
2pm - 4pm  Ufton Fete (Ufton Fields)           
1pm - 4pm  Wellesbourne Street Fair 
                            
Sunday 8 June     
1pm to 4pm  Alcester Street Fair                               

District Council officers will be giving out information and answering any questions residents may have about the new service.    The new service is a wheeled bin collection service which will include cardboard, plastic bottles and a weekly collection of kitchen waste.  

The new service aims to:

• Decrease the District's waste
• Increase recycling
• Provide better value for money
