Are you ready? Roadshow rolls on

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's refuse and recycling service is changing in August 2008 and District Council officers are out and about the District promoting the changes.

The 'Are you ready?'  Roadshow this weekend can be found at on Saturday 14 June at Oxhill Community Scarecrow Event and Harbury Carnival and on Sunday 15 June at Budgens Supermarket, Bidford.  

Saturday 14 June                 
11am - 3pm        Oxhill Community Scarecrow Event   
1pm - 4pm          Harbury Carnival, Sports Fields Harbury

Sunday 15 June                              
10am - 2pm        Budgens Roadshow stand, Bidford  

District Council officers will be giving out information and answering any questions residents may have about the new service.   
The new service is a wheeled bin collection service which will include cardboard, plastic bottles and a weekly collection of kitchen waste.  

The new service aims to:

• Decrease the District's waste 
• Increase recycling 
• Provide better value for money.
