Stratford-on-Avon District Council would like to remind residents to carry on as normal this week, 28 July to 1 August, until the new refuse and recycling contract starts next week.
"Its business as usual until the new contract starts on Monday 4 August, then it's all systems go for the new service enabling residents to have a weekly food waste collection service and recycle more," says Councillor Simon Jackson, Environment Portfolio.
"The Council's magazine Your Review has been distributed to over 52,000 District residents which details all the information required for the new service, together with a new collection calendar and we have also distributed posters to Parish Council's for their notice boards with the details and dates of the first two weeks of the service.
"Although the routine of what you put out hasn't change, some of the collection rounds have changed with the new contract, so I would like to remind residents to check the new collection calendar for their collection day.
"The calendar sets out a step-by-step guide from August to April with a panel for you to fill in your own details and either keep safe or pin to a notice board."
If you would like to find out when you collection day will be for the start of the new service look out for the calendar with the Council's magazine Your Review, visit the website at www.stratford.gov.uk/bins, where you can search using your town or village or call the information line on 01789 260925.
