Backlogs of Bank Holiday rubbish will be a thing of the past for Stratford District residents after the introduction of the new refuse and recycling service in August from Stratford-on-Avon District Council.
This August Bank Holiday (25 August) residents will feel the extra benefits of the new Refuse and Recycling Service, with collections continuing without disruption.
Residents are reminded to put their bins out, as usual, over the bank holiday period as collection days are unaltered.

"This really is a significant improvement in the service we are able to offer and we're sure it will be welcomed by all residents who receive collections on these days." Said Councillor Simon Jackson, Environment Portfolio Holder
"We need to ensure our residents are aware of this change so they put their bins out on their normal collection day."
The new services comprises:
Officers have been out and about at a variety of community events in Stratford District from May through to August with the 'Are you ready?' roadshow telling people about the changes to the service and giving out explanation leaflets.
