As part of National Play Day, supported through the Big Lottery Fund, Stratford-on-Avon District Council will be hosting a free "Have a go" activities event.

Everyone is welcome on the Recreation Ground in Stratford-upon-Avon on Wednesday 6 August from 10am until 5pm.

Activities* available include;

  • Surf simulator
  • Mobile climbing wall
  • Mobile skating half pipe
  • Inflatable assault course
  • Giant garden games

And lots more fun and games for all the family - and it's all free!

"Encouraging all age groups to participate in some form of activity is a priority to the District Council." Says Councillor Chris Williams, Portfolio Holder for Community Services.

"This is just one example of the many free events organised by the Leisure Services Team making them accessible to everyone and most importantly encouraging children to "play" while taking part in new activities."
