Tax level for Stratford District

Councillors have set the district element of the council tax in the Stratford-on-Avon District, following a full meeting of the Council yesterday, Monday 23 February.

The average Band D figure for Stratford-on-Avon District Council households for the 2009/10 financial year will be £127.43 an increase of 3.5% the lowest in Warwickshire - this increase equals 8.3p a week from this year's figure of £123.12.

This means that all the services provided by the District Council are only costing £2.45 per week for a Band D household.
