Later in the summer, the Google Trike will be coming to Britain to make some special image collections. Google is asking you to send them your most inspired suggestions for the places the trike should visit in Britain.

Google has teamed up with VisitBritain, with their unrivaled knowledge of Britain's tourist treasures, to devise 5 categories under which people can submit their ideas. The categories are: Castles, Coastal paths, Natural Wonders, Historic Buildings & Monuments and (Sports) Stadiums.

Google will be accepting suggestions for a limited time and they'll then work with VisitBritain to choose the most original ideas from each category. The public will then be able to cast their final votes and choose the top 3 locations to add to Street View (pending sunny weather).

As Google only collect images from public roads they'll work closely with the relevant organizations to collect images of privately-owned locations.

We're especially interested in getting as many of Stratford-on-Avon's landmarks photographed. And not just tourist attractions in Stratford-upon-Avon itself. Maybe you are a big fan of Chesterton Windmill for example.

Google have set up a special suggestion form, where you can submit your ideas. Hopefully if we can get enough votes together then parts of the district could be the first to be captured by Google Street View.

If you'd like to help out, then you can visit the Google Street View Suggestion Form and fill it in multiple times with different locations if you wish.

You don't have to submit any personal data either, just choose a category, landmark name and location.

Let us know in the comments below if you submit any locations to Google.
