Stratford-on-Avon District Council is continuing its review of open space, sport and recreation provision across the district and has extended the deadline for completing the questionnaire to Friday 15 October 2010.

The review covers a wide range of open spaces, from allotments, children's play areas, parks and gardens, to outdoor sports and aims to ensure that local communities have access to facilities and services that meet their sporting, leisure and recreational needs, both now and in the future.

Councillor Gillian Roache, Planning Portfolio says: "I hope that residents will take this opportunity to inform the future development of sports and leisure developments across the District. Let us know your views."

As part of the review, the District Council is keen to know what you think about existing sports and open space facilities in your local area. Please go online and fill out the questionnaire at http://www.stratford.gov.uk/survey/open_spaces/_open_space__sport_and_recreation_questionnaire.htm by Friday 15 October 2010.

Please encourage your friends and family to fill it in as well.

If you have any questions about the review or would like to receive a paper copy of the questionnaire, please contact Miriam Owen on 0121 213 3765.
