Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Active Community Officers are organising a new fun water based exercise class in Studley - 'Heart Throb'.

Starting in September on Tuesdays from 11am to 11.45am at Studley Leisure centre, Pool Road, Studley come and join in this new session offering a mix of gentle movement and exercise to music in the pool using the water as a resistance to help tone and strengthen your body.

Designed with those aged 45 and over in mind the sessions cost £1.40 or free to Leisure Centre members.

  • The first 'Heart Throb' session was on Tuesday 7 September and the next will be on Tuesday 14 September and then every following Tuesday at Studley swimming pool.
  • Another successful 'Heart Throb' aqua fitness is run at the Shipston swimming pool and daytime aqua fit session are organised in partnership with 'Everyone Active' at Stratford and Southam swimming pools.
