Stratford-on-Avon District Council has some new tenants at Elizabeth House as it seeks to maximise its assets.

The Louis Group will be moving into part of the ground floor office suite at the District Council's HQ in Church Street on Monday 29 November.

Louis Group is a Property and Financial Services company with offices in four countries and currently in its 96th year of business.  They have been based in Stratford-upon-Avon for several years and manage a number of European property portfolios from this office.

Public access to Elizabeth House will remain unaffected as there will be a separate entrance for the Louis Group from Church Street.

Andrew Lovegrove, Head of Resources says: "The District Council is endeavouring to provide value for money, reduce public spending and make efficiency savings in the current financial climate.  And part of this involves maximising our assets such as utilising our office space to greatest effect. Some of our current office space is not used to its full potential but being able to sublet it provides a valuable income stream for the District Council in these testing times."

The District Council already rents the other part of the ground floor space to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre while the theatre redevelopment takes place.  It also lets space to various other public bodies.
