The latest edition of Stratford-on-Avon District Council's magazine Stratford View in partnership with Warwickshire County Council is being delivered to District residents this week.

Both Councils have continued to develop the magazine from the first edition and it's packed full of informative articles.  The content is again very much geared around presenting important messages and information about services directly to residents, underling both Councils' commitment to improving engagement and was partly informed by a resident-focus group that met after publication of the first edition in June.

There's a round up of news in brief, future challenges, a new feature of an MPs' page, Sports Awards and nomination form, gritting advice, features on Henley-in-Arden and Burton Farm the household waste and recycling centre plus the refuse and recycling collections over Christmas and New Year.

The online version of the magazine can be found on View Extra;

*View Extra will also provide additional online content (coming soon).

Despite the prevailing economic conditions the District Council has still been able to attract sufficient advertising content to help off set the cost of the magazine as there has been no new budget cost to either Council. The cost of the publication is being financed through this advertising income and working smarter by channelling the Councils' external publicity activity (and its associated funding) into the new Council Publication.

The next issue of Stratford View is due out in June 2011.
