Stratford-on-Avon District Council's West Area Planning Committee scheduled for Thursday 10 February at Stratford Town Hall has been postponed.

The District Council's Special Planning meeting was due to consider the planning application by J S Bloor (Tewkesbury) Ltd and Hallam Land Management for land west of Shottery (09/02196/OUT).  The application is for 800 dwellings with a mixture of residential and commercial development and also includes a primary school.

The meeting has been postponed after it was found during the consultation process that there was an inconsistency in the various transport figures provided and the applicant would now like the opportunity to address the matters raised before going to Committee.

Due to the complex nature of the planning application the District Council's Planning Service has deferred the committee date to allow any substantial additional information to go through the consultation process so that the committee can take this into account when making a decision.

A new date will be confirmed once the new information has been submitted by the applicant.
