Stratford-on-Avon District Council's recently refurbished play area in Stratford Recreation Ground reopens on Monday 28 March.

The Recreation Ground project has cost £90,000 and has been funded from the Government's Playbuilder scheme.

The new layout incorporates a large fishing boat centrepiece with Dolphin Springer's and a drawbridge all set on a safety surface designed to represent the sea. An adjacent sand play area with diggers and sieves is accessible via a ramp to the Hawaii style multi play unit and also includes a water play feature.
