Free transport to next Community Forum in Bidford

Free transport is available to the next Community Forum meeting taking place on Tuesday 13 September at 7pm at Bidford Parish Council Meeting Room, Bramley Way  Bidford-on-Avon, B50 4QG.

Items up for discussion this time round include:

• The State of the District Debate – have your say!
• Warner's Budgens in Bidford – It's philosophy & Bidford Juniors FC
• Bus Services – amendments to evening timetables

Come along, have your say and help shape the future of your community.

A local policing Safer Neighbourhoods Team surgery will also take place at 6.30pm, before the community forum meeting. Officers will provide feedback on the issues raised at earlier surgeries and residents will be able to hear the latest on policing in their local area.

Sergeant Bob Shaw, Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant said: “We would welcome as many local residents as possible to attend and to get involved in the community forum. It is an ideal opportunity for individuals to voice concerns to councillors and officers from a variety of services. Influencing how local services are delivered and addressing local issues."

Also before the meeting starts officers from Stratford District Council will be on hand to offer help and advice on the District Council's refuse and recycling service.

The free transport to the meeting is courtesy of Back and 4th and is available to anyone who doesn't have access to their own transport, doesn't like to go out alone at night or maybe has mobility problems.  Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance Tuesday 6 September. Community Forums are an interactive event enabling residents to learn about issues big and small affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making. Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations.
