Renewable Energy solutions at the next Southam and Feldon Community Forum

Want to find out about Renewable Energy solutions?  Then come along to the next Southam and Feldon Community Forum meeting taking place on Wednesday 21 September at 7pm at Southam Primary School, St James Road, Southam, CV47 0QB and there is even free transport.

Items up for discussion this time round include:

• Renewable Energy* – climate concerns and dwindling fossil fuel resources are driving an increasing demand for renewable energy solutions; find out how you can save money by being energy efficient.
  *Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished)..
• State of the District Debate – Have YOUR say
• Identify YOUR priorities for local policing

Come along, have your say and help shape the future of your community.

A local policing Safer Neighbourhoods Team surgery will also take place at 6.30pm, before the community forum meeting. Officers will provide feedback on the issues raised at earlier surgeries and residents will be able to hear the latest on policing in their local area.

Also before the meeting starts officers from Stratford District Council will be on hand to offer help and advice on the District Council's refuse and recycling service.  Come along and brush up on your recycling knowledge.

The free transport to the meeting is courtesy of Back and 4th and is available to anyone who doesn't have access to their own transport, doesn't like to go out alone at night or maybe has mobility problems.  Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance by 14^th September. Community Forums are an interactive event enabling residents to learn about issues big and small affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making. Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations.
