Health and Youth issues at Community Forum in Alcester

The Alexandra Hospital in Redditch is the main topic of debate at the next Community Forum meeting on Tuesday 11 September 2012.

The Forum will take place at 7pm at St Benedict's Catholic High School, Kinwarton Road, Alcester, B49 6PX where the future of the Alex and how does it affect you will be discussed.  Also Anna Stowe from Warwickshire County Council will be explaining 'targeted youth support' and how this new way of working will benefit those young people most in need of support.

A local policing Safer Neighbourhoods Team surgery will also take place at 6.30pm, before the community forum meeting. Officers will provide feedback on the issues raised at earlier surgeries and residents will be able to hear the latest on policing in their local area.

Voluntary Action Stratford-on-Avon (VASA) will also be there from 6.30pm to chat about volunteering opportunities in your local area.

Community Forums are an interactive event enabling residents to learn about issues big and small affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making.  Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations.
