Stratford-upon-Avon's Visitor Information Centre (VIC) has moved back to Bridgefoot.

Stratford-on-Avon District Council's newly refurbished VIC has officially open for business today, Wednesday 1 February 2012 in a joint operation with Stratford-upon-Avon College.

Councillor Valerie Hobbs, Enterprise, Housing & Revenues Portfolio says: “I am delighted that the Visitor Information Centre has been able to move back to Bridgefoot. This has been a true team effort - a lot of work has gone into refitting and refurbishing Bridgefoot which reflects good partnership working between the Stratford College, and the Technical Services and the Business, Enterprise and Revenue Services of the District Council.  I should like to thank all concerned in this project and wish the College every success in their new premises.  Congratulations everyone for getting the work done on time."

Martin Penny, Principal at Stratford-upon-Avon College says: “The refurbished VIC at Bridgefoot shows what can be accomplished when organisations work in partnership to deliver results for the Town. We are excited that the new environment will be vibrant and different, but still offer a real visitor experience as well as bringing much needed Apprenticeship jobs to the area."
