Bloor Homes Leaflet - statement

Stratford-on-Avon District Council have discovered a number of significant inaccuracies and errors in a letter and leaflet widely circulated to local residents by Bloor Homes this week.  Please be reassured that the District Council is taking a careful look over the whole leaflet and will produce a more accurate picture.

Cllr Chris Saint, Leader of Stratford District Council says: “Many of the figures in the leaflet are incorrect and unsubstantiated.  We would like reassure residents who are alarmed by the leaflet that a full report and explanation from the District Council will follow that will dispel some of Bloor Homes claims."

The District Council is currently consulting on the Draft Core Strategy and wants to hear from members of the public as part of the consultation process.  The consultation closes at 5pm on Friday 30 March 2012.
