The Government has announced changes to planning regulations, including the relaxation of rules on building home extensions.

But this will not come into immediate effect as the Government has said it wishes to consult on the changes.

Stratford-on-Avon District Council will actively participate in the consultation and will make public any changes in planning rules as soon as they become effective.

Cllr Chris Saint, Leader of Stratford District Council gave reassurances that: “Planning regulations remain unchanged and any applications currently are not affected."
