Free Carers’ Information and Support Programme in Alcester

Question - Do you live in or around Alcester?

Question - Are you caring for a person who has recently been diagnosed with dementia?

Question - Would you like to meet with a small group of carers who are in similar situations?

If 'Yes', then you may like to join a support programme to be held on one morning a week over a six week period starting in the September.

The programme has been funded by NHS Warwickshire, Warwickshire County Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council and is free of charge and will be informal and confidential.  Specialist speakers on a variety of themes will attend the meetings and there will be opportunity for you to raise questions and concerns. Transport may be available upon request.

The details of the programme in Alcester is as follows:

Venue:           Globe House, Priory Road, Alcester

Dates:          21, 28 September, 5, 12, 19 and 26 October

Time:           10.30am to 12.30pm

Respite care can be provided at each session, if required, within the Dementia café at the same venue.

After this programme has finished it will be followed by a monthly group for carers to be held at the same venue.
