Shipston Senior Citizen's Action Network (SCAN) will be hosting an exclusive free screening of 'Ping-Pong' at ShipstonHigh School on Saturday 20 October.

The film 'Ping-Pong' – Never too old for gold', first shown as part of the UK Older People's event in Stratford, follows eight players from five different countries as they compete for a gold medal and the competition is fierce!

Les D'Arcy is a living legend and at 89 years old he's no intention of slowing down. He's heading to China to compete in the over 80's Table Tennis Championships in Inner Mongolia.

The doors open at 1.30pm with the film starting at 2pm and tea and coffee will be served at the interval.

Also after the film SCAN members will be able to challenge local students to a table tennis tournament – showing that you are 'never too old for gold!'

All welcome – come along and join in this free event.
