Stratford District Sports Awards 2013 – nominations wanted

The 11^th annual Stratford-on-Avon District Council Sports Awards takes place on Friday 25 January 2013 at the Stratford Manor Hotel.

The evening will be a special 'Celebration of Sport' which will recognise the magnificent year of sport in 2012 and also the hard work and commitment from volunteers, coaches and supporters in clubs and schools across the district.

Nominations are open and the search is on for sports stars and enthusiasts to be part of this celebration of sport.  Nominations can be made in the following nine categories:

• NFU Mutual Community Award
• Junior Sports Person of the Year
• Junior Team of the Year
• Alternative Sport Award
• Senior Team of the Year
• Coach or PE Teacher of the Year
• Sports Volunteer of the Year
• Senior Sports Person of the Year
• Service to Sport Award

The awards are open to all sports enthusiasts who are part of a club or school team.

All nominations need to be submitted by Friday 23 November and can be made online at www.stratford.gov.uk/sportsawards
